The United States Hockey League is carrying on the tradition of developing our young amateur hockey players to become those "Miracle on Ice" collegiate players in the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics and even stars in the National Hockey League. In fact, the USHL is America’s only Tier 1 amateur hockey league and it has been consistently feeding young players to Division 1 college hockey programs and to the National Hockey League Entry Draft. The USHL has 12 member teams currently located in Midwestern United States, consisting of players who are 20 years of age and younger. The United States Hockey League over the years has focused on the development of top American hockey talent - the next generation of the "Miracle on Ice".
