Reports To: Vice President of Sales

The 2016 Clark Cup Champion Tri-City Storm (USHL) and the Viaero Center are looking for one individual who wants to enter the sports and entertainment industry and make a difference. This individual will be responsible for a territory in and around Kearney, Nebraska. Season ticket and group sales for the Storm will be the primary focus, with additional opportunities to sell suites and concert events for the Viaero Center. You will be provided a CRM, leads, training and the opportunity to learn the sports business, where it is most important; revenue production and customer satisfaction. The candidate we are looking for needs the following attributes – a college degree, tremendous desire to be the best in the sports business, communication and computer skills, and a work ethic to carry you to success. We would work towards helping you grow into a top flight sports executive and support your growth in our organization or even the major leagues, if that is your ambition. Sales Representatives - Future Openings - USHL Member Teams (Various Locations, US)

From time to time, the USHL and its member teams may require Sales Representatives with a primary focus on ticket sales.  

The USHL and it’s member teams are on the search for young, talented salespeople looking to jump-start a career in sports. The USHL is a terrific place to get a start in the sports industry and gain valuable experience selling tickets and in some situations sponsorship opportunities.

Group Sales Account Representative - Youngstown Phantoms Hockey (USHL) (Youngstown, OH)

Are you looking to start or continue your career in sports? Be developed and created into a sports sales superstar? Then you found the right job.

The Group Sales Representative is responsible for interacting in all aspects of sales with a primary focus and responsibility of group sales. This includes, but is not limited to, selling groups of 15 or more, selling luxury suites, birthday parties, beer zone groups, and ticket plans. 


  • Sell full-season, partial plans, and groups for the Youngstown Phantoms.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Create and develop new business by soliciting new prospects through cold calling, external appointments, and email marketing.
  • Plan and coordinate group events.
  • Manage all group and season ticket accounts and provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Prepare all birthday party, suite, and beer zone details and review with game day operations team.
  • Game night responsibilities can include: Guest Services, will-call, assisting with sales initiatives, and/or prospecting clients at the arena.
  • Identify high potential sponsors and other sales targets through prospecting and our CRM datab
  • Adhere to department guidelines in relation to call volume, prospecting and productivity.
  • Consistently enter client data into CRM system throughout the sales process to aid in information sharing between sales and service personnel.
  • Assist with outbound marketing efforts relating to ticket sales.
  • All other duties assigned by supervisor.


  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outgoing energetic personality
  • Knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce) desired.
  • Computer skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office.
  • 1-3 years prior sales experience prefered.
  • 1-3 years work experience with a sports organization prefered.
