Job Description:

The Youngstown Phantoms, a member of the USHL, are entering their 4th season playing at the Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown. The teams seeks a positive, energetic, motivated and professional individual to market and sell full season, partial season ticket and group ticket plans through outbound phone sales activities, meeting appointments, and promotional events.

Responsibilities:

• Sell full-seasons, partial plans, and various group ticket products of Youngstown Phantoms
• Create and develop new business through outbound calls, event appearances, and community outreach
• Manage all personal sales accounts and work with service representatives to provide high levels of customer service
• Attend promotional and community events to increase and drive sales
• Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and closed sales in ticketing database
• Assist the game day responsibilities of sales department
• Accountable for reaching defined sales goals, and sales activity goals (calls, meetings, appointments and community events)
• Assist with corporate office fireworks operations during fireworks season as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with 1-2 years of sports ticket sales experience a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public in a friendly and professional manner
• High energy; ability to remain focused on sales goals and work independently
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Proficient with Ticketmaster and Archtics Computer Skills: Database Applications, Excel, Outlook and Word software.
