JOB TITLE: Director of Corporate Partnerships REPORTS TO: Head of Business Operations (Exact Title TBD) COMPANY: New Dubuque USHL Franchise (Team Name TBA) The United States Hockey League will be returning to Dubuque, Iowa for the 2010-11 season. The USHL is the premier junior league in America attracting the very best players from around the country as well Canada and Europe. Currently, there are over 100 USHL alumni playing or under contract with a National Hockey League team and over the last 5 years over 500 USHL players have committed to play for a NCAA Division I-A program. The team will play in a brand new 3,200 seat facility which will be located on Chaplain Schmidt Island and will be called the Mystique Ice Center. The team’s ownership group has an extensive and successful background in business and hockey and represents interests on a national and local level. The group includes Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli and Philip Falcone, Chief Investment Officer of Harbinger Capital Partners and part owner of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild. POSITION OVERVIEW The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for training, mentoring, motivating and coaching the corporate partnership sales staff.
